Cinfras Boy Wants A Sword.

Today playing Wynncraft I was exploring Cinfras. And right in front of me I found 2 NPC, a mother and a child.


So the child wanted a sword! A Siegfried's sword, despite his mother said it was dangerous and expensive, since the shop was right next to them, I bought one.

As you can see they have run out of masks since someone stole them. But I want the sword..
Here you can see the shop from the inside:

And I bought the sword.

There are 2 items in the shop, one is the mentioned sword, and that X are the masks unstocked.

After buying the sword, for the price of 5EB I gave it to the child.
Guess what happened. Nothing. My sword just disappeared :(

I don't know if this is anything from a quest, but I found it an interesting situation, so that's why I decided to post it.

I'm pretty sure it's just a quirk of dialogue to show off that Siegfried is super popular, and well known by children and parents alike.

 

I guess this proves we can actually interact with non-quest NPCs?

 

Actually completing certain quests can change some non-quest NPCs' Dialogue

 

Prime example is the guy in Nemract's potion merchant building. Before Grave Digger, he says that Sayleros' brother died and how sad Sayleros must be about it. After the quest, he remarks that someone robbed the grave and said 'how low can you be?'

 

Uhm, that shouldn't be happening. That NPC cannot take your items, and to my knowledge no NPCs like it can do so either. Are you sure right-clicking with the sword in general, regardless of nearby NPCs, isn't the thing deleting the sword?

 

I right clicked him with the sword. And disappeared. The dialogue was still the same. You guys can tp to Cinfras and do it. It is in the north entry. Just buy it for 5EB.

 

Yeah after doing some quick testing it seems like wooden swords just randomly disappear after right-clicking a few times. I think the NPC thing was purely coincidental.

 

It's not the NPC, it happened to me too, the sword just disappears bc i think jumla codeded wrongly. Since you aren't suppose to have a sword in the game

 

11/10 parent, letting their child have a sword.
