Christmas Countdown

This one is pretty self-explanatory. The only thing I have to explain is, this thread everyday, a new day we will be countdown down to Christmas. I always get confused if it's 21 or 20 days before Christmas but I think it's 21 so here. (Hope you guys have fun counting down!)

I've noticed that with age, I calm down more and more over Christmas. When I was ≤10, I could've exploded on Christmas Eve. Now I am still excited and still love it, but I've cooled my jets for some reason. Has anyone else noticed this about themselves?

Yeah I've been noticing it myself. It's like a drug. After excessive repeated use you build up a resistance to the feeling.


Y'know how you could basically go without thinking of christmas until the week it happens?

The secret is you gotta hype this shit up

like you gotta be on point with it 24/7 starting immidiately after the day thanksgiving ends

you have to go out of your way like every day watching only holiday specials

listening to holiday music when you get up and when you go to bed

just generally going on long scenic tours around town

staying inside isn't an option if you wanna get the same hyped feeling you got back when you were a kid

and make sure that the stuff you ask for is stuff you want

yeah and that's it



at least i think that's how it works.
