Chances Of Mythic In A Chest?

I've already seen that as mob drops it is 1 in a million but is it the same for chests? Just curious :P

I'm pretty sure it's the same for loot chests. Not 100% sure though.

 

My friend LostServant got one from a tier 1 loot chest.

Well, it was just to confirm. Also, I am so salty, so I just had to mention that he got it from a tier 1 xD

 

Fairly sure most mythics found from chests were tier 1 or 2, the tier doesn't affect how good the loot is and tier 1 and 2's are a looooot more common than 3 and 4

 

Doesn't the tier affect how good the loot is? If so, what is the reason for tiers?

 

Quantity (I'm fairly sure it's just this, there's no evidence that it increases quality at all)
And wasting your time because of the exorbitant amount of time it takes to open a chest up

 

Hmm, that's what my guess was, but it still seems kind of weird. But, meh! You're probably right, what the heck do I know about loot chests? xD

 

Well, this is what I know from loot chests:
- There are more lower tier chests than higher tier
- Higher tier ones are a lot rarer, harder to find and often have some sort of parkour or a puzzle or are just very well hidden.
- Tier 3 and above contain accessories (possibly mythics too, though I'm not sure. Legendaries have been found from tier I chests so no limit to them)
- More emeralds and items can be found from higher tier chests
- Higher tier chests have a longer unlocking time (time between you opening the chest on one server and being able to open it on another server)
