    I just wanted to point out that in the US it's Memorial Day. I extend my condolences to any families of soldiers who died fighting for my country.

    thank you for the thread. I helped my father raise a flag in our front yard by taping two long poles together and placing them atop a ladder. A spectacular sight to see! Here is a picture:
