SPOILER Castle Dullahan?

So recently (aka 5 minutes before this thread was made) I completed the quest The Headless Hunt. I attempted to enter Castle Dullahan multiple times, first thinking that it was where I had to go to find Referick's Soul and again when I went for Dullahan's Mansion. But at the end of the quest, one of the rewards was:
[+Access to Castle Dullahan]
So I entered the castle, and...
Nothing.
Except a giant open gate with a teleportation chamber.
Whiiich didn't do anything.
So...
What is Castle Dullahan? Does it do anything? Is it for a quest?
Or perhaps...
Is it one of the dungeons coming soon? And if so, is the temple near Olux also an upcoming dungeon?

I just wanna know what Castle Dullahan is for :/

 

You'll see what it is in the future, same with the temple in the swamp.

 

Not sure either, but I'm betting all that Castle Dullahan is a future dungeon, just like the Olux Temple, Realm of Light dungeon and the huge teleport door thing on Molten Heights.

honestly stop this stuff ;-; i get it you want to fill the suspension in the air and you arent allowed to tell us, but Revealed soon, thats like a pain, i hate time, i hate patience.

 

I know some people are impatient, but if they reveal everything then the fun would no longer be there. "???" was also made solely for this purpose-to have a sense of achievement after completing it.

If you hate patience now, I advise you start changing your attitude. You will most definitely need to have patience in your future years.

 

Yeah, when info about Dern is released and they say "soon", but it takes 2 more years to finally come out. (Okay mods please don't ban me.)

 

um duh soon is any time in the future so technicaly they did not do anything wrong in their speech lol

 

They should pretend like they didn't even see the thread :p

 

I think it is like a dungeon like the others said and the boss might be a headless Dullahan :D

 

I'm pretty sure the Dullahan and his castle will be used in the main storyline:
- He has been mentioned in several quests other than HH (Lazarus pit for example)
- In Beyond The Grave an hourglass with his name on it can be seen alongside Bob and all the 'important' characters
- In HH you learn about the history of him and that he still terrorizes the dark forest, suggesting you may need to finish him off at some point
- The entrance to his castle is a teleporter suggesting it will have some use later on

I can also guess that he will come into play around levels 65-66 as there is a noticeable drop off in quests (only 1 per level, both based in Wynn)

 

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it might be used for the Forbidden Prison quest, though I might be getting the locations confused.

Technically, you're right in saying "Soon" refers to a point in the future. However, "Soon" is usually referring to a shorter time period. An example would be "We're going on holiday soon (1 Week)" as opposed to "We're going on holiday soon (6 Months)".

 

Forbidden Prison uses a completely different building.

 

Hm, I thought that was the castle. Looks like I have some adventuring to do!

 

Isn't there a teleporter in rodoroc too? I have seen it but I already forgot how to get there

 

Oh! And there's also the Kandon-Beda statue...

 

I have a feeling the castle is gonna be used for a headless hunt part 2 quest or something like that.

 

"OH SWEET! I beat this quest and unlocked a new area!"
*goes to castle*
"There's nothing here?"
*asks mods what it's for*

"I'M THE ONE THAT BEAT THE QUEST AND UNLOCKED THE AREA AND YOU WON'T EVEN TELL THE PLAYERS WHAT IT IS"

Seriously, this is the ONE THING IN WYNNCRAFT THAT I HATE: THE STAFF TRYING TO CREATE SUSPENCE.

 

The most annoying thing is that it works

 

It didnt even say for completing the quest that the Caslte wasnt finished. Like, for example, the Light Realm Dungeon said it wasnt finished yet. I'm fine with that. But this suspense BS for something we were told were gonna get is silly.
