Can't harvest Wheat

I am attempting to harvest Wheat but it doesn't work. I am lvl 14 farming and the only thing I can farm is Barley. Other professions are fine as well. The only thing I can't farm is wheat.

 

Hmmm… weird.
Maybe try turning it off and on again?
In case someone else has expertise here, it might be logical to include detail about how you can’t farm wheat - does the node note respond, or give an error message (what message then), or does it not finish, or what?

 

Gotcha. The node just doesn't respond. As if it weren't there. No errors messages. I do hear a weird sound every time I click on the node

 

Nodes are weird.
All I can think of is that the node just doesn’t think it’s being targeted; changing your angle (including looking at a different part of the plant) might work, but yeah, sounds like it’s just a bug, might fix itself if the world resets

 

Go into third person. And if left clicking doesn't work try right, and vice versa. That's all i did to fix it.

 

Sorry this is late, devs have confirmed that the wheat node is lower than the other nodes for some weird reason, so just aim lower when attempting to gather wheat
