Can't Get To Ankou

I am trying to get to Ankou so I can start the "Tower of Ascension" quest. Problem is, I can't find a route to him. Every time I try to reach his coords I hit the mountain that you can't climb over or go around. I have looked at the map and I STILL can't find a route to Ankou. How do I get to him?

 

When infront of the big statues that lead to The Great Bridge turn left., there you should find a ave which should lead you to the ice spikes/ice canyon. Follow the path to a little bridge and there you should see the Tower of Ascension, enter and begin your quest.

 

Try to find the tunnel that lead you to the inner part of nessak where the ToA is located.
The path should be to the left of the two giant statues.

 

The thing is I don't know where the entrance to the great bridge is. I'm only level 41. Should I know where the great bridge is by now? Have I been doing it all wrong?

 

get to nesaak (the frozen area), get to the right wall of mountains of it and follow it until you find 2 bigass statues, then take the path that should be in front of you (not the one between the statues)

 

OK thank you. I'll do that later though. I stayed up all night getting destroyed by The Cockatrice before FINALLY beating it, then an hour late FLAWLESSING The Captain fight in "Ice Nations", and then looking for Ankou. I'm tired. But once again, thank you! :)

 

Just remember that you won't be able to beat ToA at your level, but you can surely start it!

You probably shouldn't try to do tower of ascenstion at level 42

I've heard this issue from different people now: if you complete ToA at lv40 (and not like it's meant to be completed at ~70+) you won't receive any xp from the quest completion.

 

You will, but only enough for one level, which is only like 1/10 of the xp

 

well.. still don't get it how you can get less xp from a quest, I thought they are meant to give a fixed amount of xp.

 

Im pretty sure that quests never give more than 1 level even if its more xp than you need to level up like 590821 times

 

Back in the days people would carry their lower classes with their higher classes by banking the tokens and level up like 20 times at level 40.
