Can Someone Explain Li To Me?

So many of the items I want to use in my builds are from legendary island. But there's 1 issue with that. I have no idea how it works or how to get those items. Apparently I need "tokens" to buy the things, how do I get tokens? Any info would be helpful, thanks!

 

Kill every boss until you reach Dr. Legendary; kill him and you win and get all your tokens.

you will have 10 bosses divided in 4 divisions: 3 bosses for bronze, silver and gold and 1 boss for diamond, by defeating all 10 bosses you will get 25 bronze (i think) 15 silver (i think) 7 gold and 1 diamond

some bosses like matrojan idol (4th) and orange cybel (9th) are really hard

 

most bosses have multi phases, but some like the 3rd, 4th and 9th one have more

 

I suggest watching an LI solo if you're interested in learning more about it before actually attempting it.
For starters: yes, you need tokens in order to acquire LI accessories. Every accessory is unique and has its own place in builds, but typically only gold or higher tier items are better than other easier to obtain accessories. Each item you want (for instance Diamond Hydro Necklace) requires you to buy the previous tier's accessory AND have a token of the higher tier (meaning you'd need to get the bronze, silver, and gold necklaces for hydro before diamond). When you complete LI, you get 25 bronze, 15 silver, 7 gold, and 1 diamond token, allowing you to get 1 whole diamond accessory and 1 gold accessory at most (I suggest diamond hydro brace and gold hydro necklace). You can stop after completing any one of the bosses and recieve rewards equal to the tier of the boss if you're not confident you'll be able to complete the entirety of LI. If you die at any stage of LI, your progress is lost and you will need to pay again in order to attempt the challenge (hence why the previous option isn't to be dismissed). Lastly, the bosses are incredibly difficult and require intense planning and a fair amount of luck to fight against. I suggest getting a perfected end game build *cough* *or just use mage/warrior* *cough* and 2 or 3 extra players to supplement your build if necessary. Assassin and Archer are the hardest to solo with. Mage can heal through most damage, although the healing rebalance did somewhat nerf the spell, it is still going to be easier with mage, and warriors have exceptional damage reduction, so most attacks will only do a fraction of what other classes recieve damage wise. You can also forfeit after a boss for a portion of the final reward
