Can I Use This Mod?

I have bad wrist pains upon holding the sprint key for too long, such as for parkour, so I would like to use the Better Sprinting mod so I can toggle my sprint instead, but I'm not sure if it's allowed or not.
Can someone confirm if I may or may not, or point me to another alternative to help with that? Double tapping the key doesn't work great, sadly.

 

You can hold CTRL. When you move forward holding CTRL, you sprint. Once you start sprinting, you can let go of CTRL and keep sprinting.

 

As I said, that's to the same effect as double tapping the forward key, which is easy to mess up and run into a block which thus stops the sprint, and it happens often enough that I still get the aforementioned wrist pain.

 

I'm pretty sure ToggleSprint is a legal alternative.
You can install it with LabyMod if that suits you.
Better Sprinting might be allowed, not sure.

 

Seeing as it is not a hacked client or an entity radar, I see no reason for it to not be allowed, but I'd PM a moderator if you don't get a reply soon on here.

 

I thought I heard somewhere that LabyMod wasn't allowed... I'll have to check out ToggleSprint, I suppose, but it looks as if Better Sprinting does the same thing, effectively, unless I'm missing something?

 

I have seen a load of people using ToggleSprint and I don't think moderators are bothered about them using it, so I would assume ToggleSprint is allowed, if you want to use that if you're still unsure about Better Sprinting then that is probably the safer option

 

I'll definitely check it out ASAP, just wish it wasn't silly and restricted to 1.8.9 which is a really obscure version :\

 

they have labymod for 1.12 now

 

I'd like a confirmation that LabyMod is allowed on Wynncraft first before jumping into using it, aka why I say that ToggleSprint is 1.8.9 only, as that's the only single download version of it I can find

 

yeah it's allowed
as long as it doesn't give an unfair advantage over others, which this doesn't.

As a right-handed player, I use the Right-Shift key (above the arrow keys) for sprinting and the arrow keys themselves are for movement

 

how do you aim the camera? left hand? or do you put your left and right hand directly next to each other? seems odd to me.

You're a lefty aren't you? I'm right handed. I use WASD for movement, Q for drop, Sprint is sidemouse button5 (gaming mouse) and everything else is default. I do keyboard controls with my left hand. I don't use a minimap mod tho, just wynn expansion.

 

I'm right-handed myself, and I use a normal laptop computer, no mouse (not to be confused with the mousepad) is used

 

You can aim with your left hand?!?! That's insane. Never heard of a righty using their left for camera control before.

 

Mind if I give you more details? My left hand uses a trackpad (no mouse used) with the left and right mouse buttons being integrated into the trackpad, and I have been using the aforementioned Basic Control scheme since Christmas 2014, with various changes made over time

 

I've been using my setup since 2010-ish. I personally hate using trackpads to game, but they're somewhat bareable for browing the internet and basic word processing with my laptop, so the utility themselves are not the problem, just just can't get to grips with them for gaming; especially after easily 2000+ hours of using a mouse and keyboard.
