You can, but you wont.

 

the chance is quite low and grinding to only get a pure is meaningless since it has very little value compared to other mythics

 

Why do you want a pure?
Get a ethereal its better

 

You are level 71 so just wait for bob's mythic weapon since it's pretty good and pretty easy to get.

 

No, you can't. Mobs and chests drop loot within 4 levels of themselves. Since the trainers are level 70, and pure is 65 you can't get one.

Also ethereal is a much better option, either way.

 

There is no reason why you can't. Although it may be easier to grind at Herb Cave for a Pure, as the mobs there are closer to its level.
But there is no reason to get a Pure. None. At all. (Unless you collect Mythics.)

 

(and unless it gets better stats and you're sitting there with a pure while everyone threw it away)

 

Why is there no reason? Is it not a good weapon anymore? What do you recommend I get instead?

The only reason pures cost as much as they do is because it's a mythic
Also your proably not going to get one even if you grind, it took me 1.5 years to find my first mythic

 

It's because Ethereal (lvl 70, legendary) can be just as good but much cheaper. It's also a legendary, so it drops more often.

 

5*, otherwise I wouldn't be getting morrowind at level 100 :D
