Cactus Build

I have a level 75 assassin and I am building up a cactus build so I can heal when I take damage and basically afk farm. My current set has the following stats:
150/2s lifesteal with 133% thorns and 100/3s poison

I am missing boots for my set so far and necklace, so I didn't factor those in.

Would this build be efficient, and would afk farming work with those stats? Also, what boots should I get?

 

133% Thorns is redundant, it is a % chance to reflect 100% damage back on melee attacks, not 100% chance to reflect % damage back.

If I recall correctly, afk farming with lifesteal/thorns is bannable (but you can still farm with this sort of setup as long as you don't go afk for a long time). I could be very wrong about this though, but I thought I'd just put this out there. A word or two from a moderator about this would be great.

To be more in line with the actual topic of the thread and your questions, I can recall a few good lifesteal items. What immediately comes to mind are Jester Rings (they can get over 50 a piece and don't have any reqs, try farming for them around Gelibord) and Executioner Helm (should be pretty obvious). There are a couple of oddball uniques for endgame that also come to mind, specifically Corruption Seal and Hero's End (both can get over 100 lifesteal each if I'm remembering right). There are surely a lot of other options, so... just look around for stuff? You don't really need legendary gear to have a good setup.

 

@Selvut283 is afk farming with Thorns/Lifesteal bannable? It's not using any hacks or mods or anything, only legitimate ingame mechanics, so shouldn't it be fine?

Well, I've seen a Moderator use a Cactus set for this purpose (or at least I think he did.)

As long as you are there at the keyboard and will respond if a staff/random guy asks you something, then it's perfectly legal.

 

I've seen @Shtafjord sit in the ToA, as mobs died in hordes around him to his cactus build. He did not respond when I said hello, commented on the fact that he was farming, or asked if he was cactusing.

 

well i actually i've stopped responding to most people,
oh and yeah i do it sometimes, but i've seen dodo do it too, and alot of other people.

 

The same happened with DodoBird, I saw him AFK grinding 3 times.

Bruh, don't worry, I saw DodoBird do it 3 times!!! I think it is bannable though, I also saw other people doing it, including a lot of my friends.

The best gear for AFK grinding comes at high levels, Grimtrap can be good and so can Cancer.

 

I think this cactus build looks better.
