Buyouts

I recently came across this issue and would like suggestions on how to proceed.

Me: ITEM (Buyout 32EB).
Player 1: 33EB for ITEM.
Player 2: 1LE for ITEM.

Who must I honor and at what price? My understanding is that the buyout option means that no one else can get that bid on that item and that it is locked in as yours.

 

if you have a buyout you should stand for it and not give it someone else
if you do it will get back at you in the future

 

So honor player 1 at 32EB?

Honor the first buyout, that's the entire point of a buyout.

 

Thank you for your responses. I was planning on honoring player 1; I just wasn't completely sure of how buyouts worked.

Do I honor buyout or does buyout only apply if it is the first bid on the item?

 

Buyout always applies
It's supposed to be insane, so just put an insane buyout

Basically auction goes until the end date which you shouldn't make undecided or until buyout is reached, if buyout gets reached its immediately sold to the person who bid that amount.
