"Buy from Market" Objective still bugged today?

if you search up "Buy from Market Objective bugged" on google im sure you'll find out what im talking about - buying stuff on the market doesn't count towards progression on the daily objective.

logging on today i saw i had the daily objective "Buy from Market: 0/3".
i go to the market, find the cheapest thing there (some birch paper) and buy 3.
you would think that would complete it, but no - still 0/3.

so.. i think it may have been a one-off, and i go buy something slightly more expensive.
i buy 3 iron gems, and hit buy.
for the record, i did confirm the purchase - im holding the items.
and still, nothing.

I relog and give it another go, in case it was a server issue, i also joined a different server.
still 0/3.

have people just been unable to do this objective? for a whole year?
do they just wait for it to refresh?

 

Buy those items one by one

 

trust me, ive tried - no avail either.
