Hey everyone, am new to the discord and I haven't played since like 2019 and picking up the game with some friends.
I used to play this "unkillable" heal spam mage build to assist friends.
Back then, it did literally no damage and had even more problems that I have now.

But with all the new lightweaver abilities I have been playing around with, the build kept its survivability
while also gaining a lot of damage (at least more than it used to).

It's role is mostly hugging the enemy and relying on thorns and reflection damage
to make fights not take 2 centuries, but it really struggles against PVE with enemies that regen health.

(The orignal build also made use of Rune of safe passage (for more health) and Ensa's faith)

I know from others that this build in the current meta is quite bad, but just face tanking bosses, keeping teammates alive and being a run anchor
is really enjoyable to me xD

I am probably going to keep this for fun and switch over to an actual meta build for raids and the like to not
be a liability to teammates, but I was wondering hypothethically,
if there are new items or abilities that I am not using here that could make this build more reliable?

The damage is actually doable, and I did actually solo the eldritch outlook dungeon by just face tanking (in give or take 45 minutes xD)

    But yeah, tl:dr:
I would love some of all of yours expertise and item/ability suggestions and just some help around all the new stuff
(I haven't even touched on aspects and al the raid stuff yet and got no clue xD)

LOVING the WFA build, but yeah i'd say an immediate upgrade would be to a mythic weapon/boots if you can afford either. next I'd suggest taking winded, maybe losing manastorm. speaking of which, since you're playing lightbender, you might be more open to sustaining your mana with manasteal, instead of mana regen

I have been tinkering a bit with the help of a tutorial.
    wynnbuilder.github.io/ builder/#CN0S70H5Wi3yQGoDIknw4kmGq7Go0V0eVyqKjsfn2

The the damage has increased to playable levels and I learned that I shouldn't be spamming Ophanim and instead spam Ice snake + heal + melee for winded buffs.

The problem I am facing right now is that the Mythic items stardew (boots) and lament (wand) both require a large detour in dex or int, meaning I will have less points to throw in defense and agility.
With this current build, I lose the "unkillable" feel the original build had. But I feel like moving away from the eden-blesssed guards is a good move for more damage.
But yeah, those mythics give a lot of mana steal and health, which is neat and is definitely a direction I can go with.

Lastly, the Clockwork is a tough one, because it gives basically everything that the tanky build wants. But the stardew and lament both give thorns, so they might be less nessesary.

while not an equivalent to raw defense, you can consider your ability to spam heal as a substitute for the damage reduction. since you'll always be casting heal to sustain both yourself and orbs, you won't have to worry about taking damage unless you're expecting a big hit (e.g. from bosses)

conversely, you could look into monster instead, you'll have the luxury of tankiness, with extra raw hp to boot, but in exchange, you might lose mythic equivalent damage (still a step up from non-mythic though, i'd imagine).

this is all to say that buildcrafting in wynn is pretty well-balanced, and you really have to make the personal decision of how much tankiness you're willing to sacrifice for damage

I think that might have done the trick:
    wynnbuilder.github.io /builder/ #CN0S70H5Wi3yQGoDIknw4qmWi6Ge0H0eVyqKjsfn2

As a sacrifice I gave up Agility and a lot of passive mana regen.
But this build can still use Nepta floodbringer and king of hearts as backup water dmg and heal while dealing proper damage and still being super tanky xD

Thanks for the info, man <3.

Got any suggestions as for how I should pursue aspects and the like to make this better?
