Build Build I Made

Everyone with the link can comment if you want. This folder was meant for my build app but since I'm using this more as a image hosting thing I don't think that matters? Idk if there's actually any rules on that. Couldn't find any.

So this is just a build I made a little while ago. It's been an project I've worked on for almost a year. I did it on a creative server (1 million blocks per second FAWE operations was really helpful).

Anyways, it's king of just this area I built. there's a mountain, a forest, an ocean, and a town. I'm pretty happy with everything except the town. I'm still working on structures.

My favourite area is probably the forest. Making the trees was really fun, and the I love making mechanical things like belts, gears, and chain drives. These were the first structures I made, which went surprisingly well.








In case it isn't clear, almost of the builds in this are angled. Angled builds are really easy for me, but I probably should have practiced on aligned builds.

Next up is the mountains, and the forest surrounding it. The main feature of this area is the camp for an exploration group. These people were initially a joke placed by a friend of mine, but I liked them and built a camp for them. Other than a few bridges and paths there's nothing else aside from a world edit mistake that I left in because of the sign someone put on it.








Finally, the town. This was... Interesting, and I'm not exactly happy with how it turned out. I don't think it's bad, but I made a few mistakes in style initially and didn't change enough, so it's not anywhere close to what i wanted. I'm doing another build that's on flat ground so I don't have to worry about terrain.

But anyways, I decided to make everything angled. This actually wasn't bad, but it made me get lazy on depth, and it looks a bit boring to me. I still think that angled building is possible to do in the way I wanted to, but I'm going to need to work on that.

This town is kind of a port type thing. There's a bunch of different buildings, some of which are under construction because I got lazy because I wanted to try making scaffolding.
