Mage/Dark Wizard Help Build Help

Context - Mage, Lv. 64 at time of post

So I went through the third floor of the Tower of Ascension today and died twice, probably due to the fact that my build had zero mana regen. I did a little revision, and am currently looking to see if any people more experienced with builds has any advice or suggestions to improve this further. I'm going for a mana regen-focused spellspam build.

okay so the build isn't entirely unusable but there are some things to improve.

skill points should be first used to reduce spell costs (intelligence), not split them randomly everywhere, since this is a spell focused build.
ofcourse make sure to put sp into wearing your equipment too.

powdering weapons should almost always be not skipped on when you have powder slots on said weapon, i would go with tier 4 water powder but that's up to you whether tier 4 or 5 (6 is overkill here) and what element. but anything lower than tier 4 you don't get the powder special.

mana regen. you mentioned it yourself too, it is indeed a good idea to have a solid amount of it. mana steal can work also and even better if you have a slow attack speed however you need to melee between spells to get your mana whereas for mana regen you don't.

tower of ascension rewards you with a set of champion armor, for level 75 and for that you need 7 floors completed (all of them). you don't gain anything really before finishing it so it might be better idea to skip it til you're 75 and then get someone to help you and get a decent build for level 75.
