Broken Bosses?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not so I'll put it into questions

I was fighting Naragath for the Eye of the Storm quest, and I am a wizard that's best at healing so I was already at a disadvantage, but it was possible to beat him, it just would take a long time. But once his hp dropped to zero he immediately respawned with full health and i got no drops from it, I am not aware of any different phases of his battle either

this is a problem I've also faced when fighting the final phase of Amadel, who I was struggling with too. It was possible to kill him and I did but he immediately respawned after hitting o hp and I got no drop. I have faint memories of fighting a dungeon boss many years ago and having this same problem.

Is this an issue only I'm struggling with? I haven't found any forums talking about it and it's really bugging me

 

both amadel and naragath have multiple phases. it's a common misconception to think that it just "respawned" because both of their second phases are practically identical to the first. in the case of amadel, you have to kill his wither form 2 times, before uncovering his corrupted form, and for naragath, you have to kill him twice.

also, you seem to be having some trouble, i would recommend checking your gear and making sure it's up to par, as you shouldn't be having too much trouble with naragath (amadel i can understand)

 

okay, thanks a bunch :> it was frustrating at first since I thought it was broken and killing it again wouldn't do anything, i guess i'll have to gear up some more before i take them on again
