I have a friend who has a really good pc, but with a trash GPU. With the GPU crisis going on, there isn't any way to get a good GPU at a price that isn't over $2000. Bottlenecking (one component of the pc holding the others back) is a huge problem and results in random crashes every 30~ minutes. Usually, it's fine, as Wynn doesn't have a big penalty for suddenly logging off, with the exception of raids. It's impossible for him to do raids because if you log off/crash during a raid ( at least in his experience) you don't get the raid rewards, and it sends you to a different lobby with a boss that is full health, the team gone and being in spectator mode. Since almost all the crashes are during boss fights because of the influx of entities + particles, he can never finish any raid. Any solutions?

I do fine with an i5 and intel UHD graphics WITH SHADERS on. Something else is wrong. Are you sure that they have allocated more ram (in vanilla the ram setting get reset every time you launch)? What mods are they using? Are you sure that it's a crash, or could it be internet related? If it's a crash there should be a log somewhere, maybe post that?

4 GB is plenty, and the crash log shows that it did allocate that much.

Anyways, it looks like the crash is being caused by an error with scoreboards. I don't really know what that could be, but maybe /toggle sb could help. I'm not entirely sure it that's always the exception that's causing the crash, so i'd suggest looking through some more crash reports and see if they have the same exception, or if they are all different. I will note though that it does not seem to be a mod issue.
