Boss Fight Game

1. I’ve decided to start a boss fight game too, but this one will be a bit more complex than the one @Void_Sky_Laar is running.

Only 3 weapons and a set of armor can be equipped per battle, and items are unlimited. If you open a crate during a battle, you’re allowed to switch something you get for something you have equipped.

These two daggers are magically bound. Whatever damage one deals will also be dealt by the other. They cannot be apart for long.
Bonded Strike
The daggers morph together, striking the enemy for high damage and amplifying the daggers’ damage by 5% for the rest of the battle. Charges every 5 turns.
Infernal Cobra Staff (3)
Does fire damage, and has a 25% chance to give targets 10 damage burning for 3 turns.
Hellfire Cobra
Creates a cobra out of fire that quickly charges at the target, dealing high damage and giving a burn, as well as stealing 25% of the health taken. Charges every 5 turns.
Runic Surge
Charges every 5 turns, adding 100 damage to your hit, and a runic burn that does 10 damage every turn for 3 turns and healing you for that damage. Charges cannot be stacked.

+3HP defense, buffs damage with melee weapons by 10%, set bonus gives a 25% damage boost for surprise attacks.

Does 450 damage to you and heals all enemies for 450 health. Over the course of 8 turns, heals 600 health and damages all enemies for 600 health.

Makes you sticky for 3 turns.

First of all, the attacks cannot just be anything. Each of you will pick a starting weapon. It can be any medieval weapon, but it will do normal damage. You can do item searches during boss battles, which use a turn, and sometimes multiple depending on where you look, and say where in the boss fight area you want to search. You can also use the setting to your advantage to affect the boss directly. You may not find an item every time.

I also want each person to pick their stats. You have 15 stat points and each stat has a max of 10.

Speed determines the order of attacks. If 2 people have the same speed it’ll be based on the attack done.

EDIT: Speed will now affect the chance of dodging attacks. If you want to change your stats, tell me.

Each player has 500 health, and 3 health potions for each battle which heal 100 health each and remove negative status effects(edit), and do not take a turn. Players can give potions to each other as well. But health potions cannot revive you — only Rejuvenation Scrolls can do that. Each player has 1 of those per battle, and they revive to 250 health, but they do use a turn.

Spoiler: Crates

You can buy crates with coins, which you can get from beating bosses. You’ll get more coins based on how many turns you defeat the boss in and what you do to defeat the boss. Crates can give you weapons and items.

Small Crate (10 Coins) — 3-5 items of any kind
Medium Crate (25 Coins) — At least 6-8 items of any kind, 1 rare item guaranteed
Large Crate (50 Coins) — 9-11 items, 1 epic item guaranteed
Master Crate (100 Coins) — 12-14 items, 1 legendary item guaranteed

Armor is helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots, just like Minecraft.

Spoiler: Scrapping

Anything you get from a crate that you don’t want can be scrapped. The scrap obtained from scrapping can be used to upgrade weapons and armor. Amounts obtained from scrapping are as followed.

Spoiler: Leveling Up Weapons

Costs for leveling up a weapon or armor piece are as follows. Leveling up weapons improves their damage, and leveling up armor improves its defense. Leveling up items also can improve any special abilities they have.

A weapon can be upgraded 100 levels, but every 10 levels the cost increases by 1. To get from level 10 to 11, 20 to 21, etc, you must evolve it, which, in addition, will cost a Boss Fragment dropped from bosses.

The room is an ancient temple, and you’re in a circular room in the temple. There are pillars around the room with strange writing on them, and some rubble and skeletons around the arena. At the back, there is a stone pedestal, and a stone lion face with lava flowing from it. To the left of the arena is a storage room with lots of chests and more rubble. Lying on the pedestal is a stone golem. When you get close to it though, it wakes up.

They let out a loud cackle, and snap their fingers. You are suddenly transported to a meadow with pink and red heart-shaped trees, pink rivers, pink rocks, a giant pink castle with a heart on top, and winged hearts flying around. Suddenly, a winged man holding a bow appears, laughing.

“Why, hello there, so kind of you to join me! Let me introduce myself. I am the one and only — Cupid! The god of love? Perhaps you’ve heard of me? Anyway, I came across you rowdy looking group of young fellows in my magic vision, and I couldn’t help but wonder what you all were doing. You’ve got weapons, so I suppose you’re fighters. Right?”

Yes, speed is order of attacks.

There’s not really classes, you’re just picking your starting weapon. So for the weapon, just nothing modern, but magical weapons like wands and staves are okay.

I guess it's my turn, judging by the speed stat.
I'll shoot a bolt with my crossbow at one of the Golem's most vulnerable parts (one of its eyes, if it has any).
By the way, how does the golem look like?

I launch a rock, a distance away to shatter its knees

 

You search a pile of rubble on the ground. You find an ancient golden pot within the rubble.
Ancient Golden Pot
Worth 10 coins, or you can throw it at an enemy for a tiny amount of damage.

You carefully enter the back room, checking for traps. Not seeing any, you begin searching through the chests. In the first chest, you find 3 coins, as well as a potion.
Holy Lion Potion
Makes the user’s attacks deal 1.8X more damage for the next 3 turns, but all attacks are directed to the user for the next 3 turns.

I’m gonna buff speed. Speed will now also make you able to dodge attacks better. If you wanna change your stats because of this, you can.
The golem steps towards Acceleration and swings at their head. They bend just out of reach to avoid the hit.

The golem is mostly made of some lighter type of stone. It has eyes that glow light blue, as well as a circular design in its chest that also glows light blue. It also has writing, supposedly runes, all over it.
You fire a crossbow bolt at the golem’s glowing eyes. It deals 30 damage and the golem stops glowing.

Tsuyoku had a little trouble rolling their Ballista up the temple steps. I guess the trebuchet really is superior.

You load a rock onto your trebuchet, and launch it at the golem. It deals 50 damage.

You don’t need to reply in order of your speed. I’ll just organize the attacks that way. As for who goes first when there’s equal speed, I’ll use a random number generator.

 

I'm going to drink the holy lion potion, and throw my battle axe at the rock golem's face.

 

This'll make the stat more useful for sure, but I'll keep my current setup.

I'll move to the back of the room towards the storage room without yet entering it, and fire a bolt at the circular design in the Golem's chest.
