    Hello!
So for all of those people who enjoy reading, what books do you recommend? I mainly made this thread for me because I need books to read, but I suggest using this thread to find some interesting books that you can read as well!
Just comment any books that you recommend, and include the genres you prefer and the "reading level" (I'm not sure if that's the actual term for it). Examples: YA (young adult), high school, middle school, adult books, etc.

For me, I recommend Graceling (there's a series) by Kristin Cashore (fantasy, YA), Throne of Glass (there's a series) by Sarah J. Mass (Fantasy with a hint of romance, YA), and House Rules by Jodi Picoult (realistic fiction, YA - but more advanced). I would recommend the Harry Potter series and Divergent (I only read the first book of the Divergent series though lol), but I feel as if every one else probably read them.

The world the J.K. Rowling created is so amazing, I didn't ever put the book down. Not even in my classes.

That is why I live in the detention room.

    Uhhh let's see here...
Maze Runner was good but the rest of the series just slowly got more and more convoluted
BZRK series is nice but mildly inappropriate (swearing, etc)
Artemis Fowl series was pretty cool
    So was Septimus Heap series
I am Number Four was good but I've only read book 1 so I don't know how the rest of the series is
Leviathan series (by Scott Westerfeld) was also good

I remember reading the first two or three books of the Artemis Fowl series. I don't think I understood it since I was in third grade or something lol. And I either finished Septimus Heap or I just had one book left. It was pretty good. Thanks for the recommendations by the way!

Never fear, Cenpy's here with her list of underrated fantasy book series' that everyone should read :D

    - The Chronicles of Ixia (Consists of Study Series, Glass Series, and Soulfinder Series) by Maria V. Snyder

(Lots of Fantasy, LOTS of Romance) Even though there's three different series' inside this whole series, it all takes place in the same universe with the same characters and they all relate and interact and tie together. These stories are written in such away that you develop a strong emotional tie to each and every one of the characters, and fall in love with each of their rich, creative, and unique personalities. The books are so captivating and interesting and never fail to keep you on the edge of your seat. I may or may not have cried a few times while reading this, but it also never failed to make me laugh and smile.
This series has adult topics in it, but I think any mature person who is comfortable with adult topics should be perfectly fine to enjoy this series.

    - The Graceling Realm by Kristin Cashore
(Lots of Fantasy) Okay I don't have any raving reviews for this series like I did for the last, because I haven't read this in a while. It takes place in a very fantasy-like setting. There's three books in the series - Graceling, Fire, and Bitterblue - but they don't go in any particular order. You could read them in any order, but in the end, no matter what order you read them in, you will have moments where your jaw drops and it suddenly seems like the stars have aligned and the entire universe makes sense now. And again if you choose to re-read it later, like I did. It's extremely well-written and definitely perfect for YA.

    - Inside Out / Outside In Series by Maria V. Snyder
(Very Fantasy) Okay, I've just started reading this series myself, and it's almost as amazing as The Chronicles of Ixia. I don't want to say much for now because I've only read half of the first book, but it's just plain incredible. The characters are amazing, the story is amazing, and it also keeps you on the edge of your seat biting your fingernails off. This is definitely a wonderful YA series.

I'm running out of time lmao but I also HIGHLY recommend these YA series':

    - The Heir Chronicles by Cinda Williams Chima (not exactly as obscure as the others, but still amazing)
    - The Seven Realms Series by Cinda Williams Chima (also not exactly as obscure, but also amazing, even though I haven't finished it yet)

Whoops this is a long post.

Like Ganon said, Rick Riordian's books are amazing and you should totally read them all. It really doesn't matter how old you are.

Then Inheritance Cycle, probably middle school - high school level. (Also, this gets you really popular with right out of college adults and older teenagers. I tell the above what I'm reading or they see it, and they start being super nice to me, or they think I'm the greatest person ever. Heheh)

Another, definitely not as popular one is Snow Like Ashes. I've only read the first book in the series, but it's been really good. Probably teen reading level.

Giver Quartet (on 7th chapter on 3rd book, so far good) is down right amazing. Glad to have been forced to read the first one at school!

Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl is good too, but yet to finish that one as well

Any discworld book, they are amazing! Maybe Harry Potter. This one book called the blackthorn key is very good, it focuses on an apothecary's apprentice in the 1660s that investigates a cult's murders, it's quite good, you should check it out!
