Bob's lost soul quest does not work

I'm supposed to bring back a depressed stick to the blacksmith to extract bobs soul out of it. I got a depressing stick from the ice cave underneath the house but the blacksmith doesn't recognize that. He keeps saying i need to bring a depressing stick while i have it in my hand.

Reported this as a bug but i haven't heard anything about it and im still stuck at this quest. Anyone know how to fix this?

 

Make sure you also have all the other depressing weapons on you (Wand, Spear, Dagger, and Bow. There isn't a relik). If you need to get any of them, plenty of players are selling them on the Trade Market, which you can find in Detlas
