Bob

Hey guys, so we all know of Bob, but i realised i haven't been paying particular attention to his backstory and stuff so could some people just give like a short summary of who Bob was?

 

Just read his story off the wiki (or go into the Ragni Library in-game)

 

A legendary figure in the Province of Wynn, who mastered the use of multiple weapons and defended the fort of Ragni from numerous swarms.

Bob was born in the sewers, during one of the sieges of Ragni. His mother died in childbirth. He had pale gray skin, like the olmic people, and was picked up by his adoptive mother. She was turned, and Bob had to kill her, and then Bob travelled across the province, learning from four masters, becoming the best assassin/archer/mage/warrior mix wynn has ever seen. Spent rest of his life protecting wynn. Died on a mission to fight some unknown evil. Nilrem, Bob's friend, made a fake corpse and a fake tomb for Bob because Bob wanted that. Bob also had magic animal companions.

bob was wynn's main big warrior/defender before that mantle got passed down to us. he was born in 854 AP in the Decrepit Sewers, his mother ended up dying of childbirth. He had pale gray skin which made him an outcast in Ragni's mostly fair skinned citadel. Until he was 12 years old, he worked in a bakery, moving cakes and stuff to the palace. At 12 years old, there was a big swarm that tore apart the city; but Bob managed to make it through by hiding and defending himself when he could. His adopted mother ended up dying in the same swarm, and gave him two dark knives, from there he was instructed to go to Almuj's savannah, where his first master would be. From there on he got trained for 5 years at a time by Chak in the savannah, Mael at the Twain mansion, Ethe in the Nivla Forest, and Fier at Troms. This essentially made him a master in every single class/art, which he could switch out and use within a moments notice, alongside his other spells.
For the next 100 years he defended the province, his skill in combat and magic outclassing almost every single monster that the Corruption could fling at him. Until in 984 AP, on his 100 year anniversary of protecting the province, he learned of a "dark creature" that was a threat to everything... He dropped everything he was doing at this time and immediately went to go seal this thing away, which cost him his life. He told his friend Nilrem to erect a tomb and create a fake body for them to bury, and create a fake story of what happened to him, so that nobody would know what he REALLY did, because if he did it, others would try and follow in his steps.
According to the Ragni lore, Bob has been missing for 16 years.
