SPOILER Bob Is Broken Af

TL;DR
Bob doesn't take damage from any element
It's 100% damage reduction

It's my first Wynn video, not trying to advertise, but it was much easier to say than type.

EDIT:

Quick Summary:

We had 5 people there, including myself.

All of us level 75 or above, this fight took us around 5-8 minutes.
Length of this fight would be okay, but the requirements to beat the boss are much steeper than originally.

So steep that a group of players that this quest is AIMED towards, would not be able to complete it

I understand a boss is suppossed to take work now, and I understand you want raids. But making it completely immune to elemental damage (Upwards of 50% of our damage), dis-engages the player.

These fights can be really fun with a party especially.

It was the first time I've struggled with a boss...
But this boss fight is repetitive, dull, and doesn't require much skill

Just my two cents on Bob.
I think it needs to be changed, but that doesn't mean it has to.​

 

i dont see bugs in the video... maybe you shouldnt have slowed it down, and maybe put the time where the bugs are? for exmaple 0.0- 1:25

 

Bob really needs to have a nerfed elemental defence, down to like 70%?

I can't really point you to it, the last 10 seconds or so are slowed down to count the damage. He only takes RAW dmg, and everything else is -0.

So popify? Raw damage isnt that hard to deal? or do you mean, your only able to hit him for damage, and spells doesnt hurt him?

 

Please pay attention to the numbers floating around Bob, if you see any element excluding ♥, you'll see it ticks for -0 dmg.




This means no element can deal damage to Bob, which is about 50-75% of your damage that won't affect him. Raw damage isn't hard to deal, but it comes in very small amounts. And even in those amounts, it's difficult to kill Bob.

If you need more information, please phrase your question a bit more coherently so I can answer to the best of my ability.

True, but now he's stupidly hard :/ I tried to solo him as Mage now, but with s glitched ice snake that no longer freezes him, it's very difficult

 

Well whatever, im lvl 80 mage and my ingame name is SkySez if u need help to kill him, ill help if you pay a price.

 

Not for archers unless they fixed that glitch spot, but I agree

 

Elemental defenses and weaknesses are raw values, not percentages. He resists all elements by 450 damage, which is actually considered a fairly low amount for his strength. I think element defenses are bugged at the moment because all enemies seem to be greatly magnifying the effects of their elemental weaknesses/resistances.

 

Yeah, I've seen this. It says Fully Formed Amadel has no strength, damage type or weakness, but he takes 0 damage from all elemental attacks. Which basically means I'm doing 40 damage tops to him. It's kinda impossible for me to defeat him, even with a weapon that does 200 damage .-.

Raw values may cause issues in the future with scaling though, percentages tend to scale better in boss fights at the very least.

But, I'm glad a staff member has taken the time to respond, so I really do thank you for that.

 

Maybe it would help if you actually used all your skill points. Still, I agree that the elemental damage should happen.

 

Wouldn't matter, none of them influence "Neutral Damage" all of them affect an element, the only useful ones would be dex and str. Which I would need tons of.

 

And you have 81 skill points to use. That is a lot, so it would help a lot.

 

it's the same with amadel, and since with a wolf bow (the best bow you could have for neutral damage before bob's mythical bow) I was barely only doing about 1000 more damage than he could regenerate, I decided to wait until I had beat bob. And now this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I have no idea where you got "81" from, but that doesn't really matter, it won't help much if we're all 75+ and it still takes this long to kill.
