Reaction/Discussion Boats In Beta - General Talk | Glitches | And Suggestions

While going to Skien's Island to check it out, @FishWaffle and I found some really weird thing's with boats

• General

With boats costing 2 EB, most people will probably take the Sea Skipper, but as it is broken right now, the only way of traveling are boats or swimming. The thing about boats in the new update is you dont get them back, the only thing they do when you hop out of them is stay there, this is a way for other people to steal boats easily and sometimes they despawn.

• Glitches

1. Boats despawn a bit after you hop out of them
2. Not sure if it's a glitch but... When you hop out of boats they go don't go into your inventory but instead just stay there.
3. An old boat merchant was left here

• Suggestions

1. When you hop out of boats it should go into your inventory instead of just staying there
2. Maybe make boats cost a little less because the Sea Skipper will probably be used more often since it doesn't cost as much and it's over time.

Please leave more suggestions and glitches so we can try and fix boats/make them different

 

Agreed, since boats may only be used for exploring the ocean, finding potential relics, and finding Easter eggs.

 

Apparently Salted is already aware of this glitch and is looking to fix it ASAP.

Right when we hopped off the boat we saw the castle, looked at it, and then instantly died by an arrow I didn't see. Overall, the trip went wonderful.

 

they might be hiding something like the doorway to corkus so they made it seem stronger

Well in selchar there is an engineer that states he's from a "very different province"
And they said Corkus isn't real.

 

we have confirmed Corkus is bordering the ocean... what mob is that engineer?

 

Its just a human npc in Selchar, probably just a joke by Tanti if anything.

 

interesting, my guess would be he is from Fruma. it is is thought to be a place of technology and science.
