Bigger And Better: Wynncraft Edition

For those of you who recoginze the title, or have seen the TED Talk "What if you could trade a paperclip for a house?", you'll know where I'm going with this. For those of you who don't, the talk explains it quite well. I haven't made enough posts to put a link so just Google it.

Bigger and Better is a game where you start with something small, and trade it for something of roughly similar value, with the goal of ending above where you started. This TED Talk is about a man pushed this game to its limits.

Origins:
A couple of months ago, I was running around the server, probably doing world discoveries or something, when I stopped in town to deposit some emeralds that I had collected while running around. I then noticed something. I had 64 Half Moon Island boat passes on me that I must have picked up off the ground. Fast forward a couple months, and I still have them despite a couple halfhearted attempts to pawn them off to my guild. During the 24 prof party hosted by DoomDeath1313 just before Christmas, I was in a VC with other participants, including GraphicNovel. We were running out of things to talk about and so I mentioned the boat passes. Graphic asked for a couple more details and we came to the conclusion that they were probably his boat passes. A few minuted later, we met up in Lutho and I returned his passes, and in exchange he gave me 14 t3 Dernic wood as a thank you for returning them. I then had the idea that led to me writing this post. If you haven't figured it out already, I want to play the same game that Kyle MacDonald played. The virtually worthless boat passes are my red paperclip, and the Dernic wood is item #2.

My goal:
Kyle started with something worth about 5 cents and ended up with something worth over 1 million times that. A stack of those passes costs just 8EB, one million times that is 8 Million EB, or close to 2000 stx, which is of course far more than any one item. But I think that still makes my point clear: I am going big. If possible, this will end in a trade where I possess an item worth at least 25 stx.
