Hi, I used to play years ago and I'm planning to start again with my girlfriend. What would be the best archetypes to be able to complete almost the entire game with just the two of us while really playing together ? Actually, I don't mind playing a skill-dependent class, but for my girlfriend, a less difficult class would be better, otherwise she won't enjoy it.

Personally, for a less skill dependent class, I'd recommend some form of Lighbender, on Mage, either full the Lightbender archetype or a mix of Riftwalker and Lightbender (Riftbender) With the healing support of mage, you could use (in order of difficulty) Shaman; Archer; or Warrior.

Assassin could also work, but it's very complex, and with the many changes over the past few years, I wouldn't recommend it to a new player/a returning player.

My recommendation, personally, would be either Boltslinger on Archer, or the Fallen/Battlemonk archetypes, or some mix of the two on Warrior for you.

as far as "less difficult class" goes, that would just mean any class with built in healing (imo), warrior/mage/shaman all have that (albeit with warrior and shaman, you'll have to progress down your ability tree before you get healing), so could definitely recommend any of those. if you're looking to do most content co-op, it could also help for you to play a class that can fill in the damage for the duo, for that, both archer and assassin are generally regarded as good (not so sure about assassin these days, but i would still think so). i'd lean slightly towards archer, as i feel that assassin gameplay tends to be more "selfish", with a whole tree that benefits from you playing alone. archer, on the other hand, has some great co-op synergies. trapper, for example, can benefit from having a co-op partner help you kite any bosses into your traps.
