Best Boonless lootrun playstyle?

So I'm having a lot of fun lootrunning with bash-scream warrior rn but sometimes I get this lucky run with a rainbow before 10 challenges but then go cold on the boons and die at like challenge 20 or 30. I see that boltslinger and acrobat are able to avoid 90% of enemies by flying so what would be the best class to lootrun with trash boons or no blues?

I typically don't get many boons, and I've found mage (riftwalker with some arcanist and lightbender stuff mixed in) to be best at lootrunning personally. The only concern is that the damage falls off rather quickly so a handful of boons might be necessary just to increase damage. Acrobat is also really good but I found it to be slightly less effective, but that's probably just my build.

I typically do fine so long as I don't get mobbed. As acrobat it's fine because I have excellent upwards mobility so I can avoid the majority of mobs that way. As mage it's a bit trickier without safe spots, but I've found that with a good amount of teleporting I usually do fine except on some of the "kill enemies" challenges and to the lantern keeper cave (that horse is BS).

 

Ok I tried arcanist mage and while it was alright it just didn't seem like the kind of playstyle for me. Do you think acrobat or boltslinger is better for the no hit playstyle?

 

Personally I found acrobat to be pretty good at that. As for arcanist, I generally wouldn't recommend it since it doesn't have heals, but that's just me being bad at the game. I haven't done much lootrunning as anything else, but I found boltslinger to get a bit too slow.

 

Acrobat can literally fly above everything, and, given enough time, can chip down the HP of everything in the entire game. If you need more damage, you can dip down and use more spells. Very versatile, highly recommend.

 

uppercut surfing is really nice for avoiding most things, and if playing fallen you can sustain high corrupted level for a long time too
