First I want to give you my personal view on Wynn province as an overall setting since despite being a starting zone for players, it does have interesting potential as a setting when expanded upon. Here is how I would describe Wynn province in my way.

The Wynn province is a land that is still described as fantasy but not quite like Gavel province. The most dominant sapient race that exists in the province is humans who are in the medieval era in terms of technology levels during the corruption war. I want to give the feel that the province has just survived the worst the corruption war could offer yet they still fighting in the aftermath of it and trying to find a way to end this war once and for all for a better future while also graceful and praising heroes like Bob who allow them to survive to pass the worst of the war. It's almost impressive actually that Wynn people still manage to survive with just medieval stuff like bows and spears.

Of course, when villagers arrive, they introduce these magics stuff to these people who are still in the medieval era. This is how I try to give my spin to the province, instead of wynn people seeing these magics as cultural things. They see it as a weapon, magic is valuable and treat it as much as a sword. That is why I give mages of the province more tactical armor with no traditional wizard style cause I want to give the feel of grimness to it.
these mages are not going on a fun adventure or any of those fantasy things you would see, they fighting a horde of the zombie apocalypse that probably result in their death every day which is why they have to wear armor and heavily conceal their body or else they would be wound and likey become one of the horde.

Corruption itself is scary. I want to make it seem like the player in the early game just sees the weakest stage of it. You, the player, have not gone through what these people see during their time in this hell. You have it easy as the ground beneath you buried with many of those who have fallen to the war and corruption to make this future and your time in this province even possible. There are many undead out there to tear you apart but there are also many people in Wynn province willing to help you and work together to survive another day in this shit hole of a province.

that is my summary of Wynn province. My take on it, the official writers probably have a different idea which I understand, A lot of things in Wynncraft are very vague so this is how I view it. There also will be more expansion toward the general province but those are details I want to tell you for now.
