Average Wand Damage?

The wand is a unique weapon as it has significantly lower damage output compared to other weapons.

So lets talk about neutral damage, for example an ethereal has 15-30 neutral yet its good.

Can someone give a measure of whats good, ok and bad?

The weapon's attack speed has a major affect on it's DPS. Faster weapons do less damage per hit because you can hit more times per second with them. If your attack speed is high you also get an increase to your spell damage, since spell casting is independent of your attack speed.

Ethereal has a fast attack speed, which is why it's damage per hit is so low. Check if the wand you're wondering about has a faster attack speed compared to the weapons you're comparing it with.

Also, the weapon's elemental damage also needs to be considered - most weapons have mainly elemental damage. Neutral only weapons are typically weaker than elemental ones.
