Build Assortment Of My Builds (need Opinions On Them)

So I've been building things for some time and never showed any of them because I got issues uploading images to threads in this section.

I want to here anyone's opinions on these as I've not had anyone other than parents say anything about my builds here.

 

Your houses Have to much logs... Also try to use a better palette

 

The sky island looks too semmetrical, terrain is usually more messy and asymmetrical, try to make it look more natural

The fountain lacks of detail and your only using one block for the palette

I can't even see the tower since the smoke is blocking most if it

The stairs are just straight, they have no detail at all. The gate in front of the stairs lacks of detail

Try to work on terrain, wire framing (and hand built terrain) is a good technique if you dont have W/E or voxel

 

(Pictures 4 and 7) You need to add a bit more depth and detail. On the roofs try to make them a little more tiled. Try to incorporate fences into the houses (more than just for balconies) By making them supports or even lamp posts. Try to make the roofs a little worn down by adding some different kinds of slabs. Also adding stairs into the walls to act as indents would fix the little bit of depth that the houses lack. For the path way don't make solid if it's going to be made of gravel try to mix grass, coarse dirt, podzle, and gravel to give it more of a pathway look and make it look like it has been used. You could also try adding a fence to the walkway for a bit more detail. Also with the type of house you made a brick chimney would go great somewhere. Also on the porch to make it a bit more realistic you could try adding some forth of support whether it's using fences or logs or an arch, You decide. If you practice everything I've mentioned I could see you becoming a much better builder.

Also I forgot to mention this, but the flag in picture 8 should be drooping as if gravity is pulling it down. It'll make it look just a bit better.
