Armor Switching

    Minecraft:
    I will equip a pair of boots, and then a while later it switches out and if I interact with an npc while holding the item I "unequipped" then the item i'm holding and the item I "equipped" will visually become the same item until... i don't even know when they switch back. How can I fix, or stop this

    Do you meet the item's requirements? Even when you unequip your current boots?
