Are The Dwarves Canonically Short

I was recently thinking about the Dwarves in wynncraft when I realised that this entire time I have completely ignored the fact that they are the same size as us. They're dwarves, so shouldn't they be like half our size?
I know it's not really possible in minecraft which is why they're so tall but it makes me wonder..

Are the dwarves actually supposed to be short, or are they supposed to be our size?

 

I thought their models are a bit shorter but I might be wrong.

 

pretty sure they are supposed to be small, although it's kinda hard to make a "small" player model

I guess they can make their models similar to aryn's (from the lost in the jungle quest) but that'd make rodoroc and maex lag hell due to each mob being made up of like 10 or so armorstands
