Are spells for archers useful in guild wars?

Hi I have a rq question, so im planning on getting a Divzer and I don't know if spells are useful in wars, don't judge me but I kinda wanted to find a melee dmg build for Divzer but that was too painful so I am thinking about resorting to spell. Only thing holding me back is I want to know if spells like arrow bombs and storms are useful for archers in wars. If you happen to know a Divzer hybrid or a Divzer melee dmg build please lmk, very appreciated tysm! <3
