I haven't gotten around to getting this forums account deleted, so might as well get a little more use out of it. Is it even possible to delete a forums account? I won't have to worry about that anyhow, the forums are already on their way to killing themselves. how cool right
It sure was interesting checking the news section and seeing that they'll only post news on discord from now on...
It's been a few years, so, I tried playing a little wynncraft again. I deleted all my classes and started over.
As expected, it's still pretty fun. Not much new content since I've been gone, I'm aware that they've been working on Fruma. The trailer should release any day now, I'm sure
As per classic Wynncraft, the shouts were the same as I remember, a torturous experience. the other day they were talking about "looking for femboys". seeing these conversations pop up is inherent to the experience at this point.
And when they're not talking about femboys, they're selling items which look like squares in the chat. I believe that's some kind of wynntils feature (which I still refuse to use). I think it's a little crazy people are essentially allowed to spam squares because to someone with wynntils installed it actually looks normal.
About actual gameplay, I played warrior, notably fallen. I can tell they've done some balancing. I really like that intoxicating blood can now be activated by simply hitting enemies.
I noticed that killing mobs in world events often gives you 0 xp, has it always been this way? The xp overall seems to have been nerfed a little.
Bless the soul who made it so you can use F to skip cutscenes in certain quests like that one in Dullahan Castle, I hope it gets implemented in even more places.
One thing that bugs me is that I've been putting off those quests with bonus rewards, like the colossal rat one. A part of my brain wants to get every little possible emerald, the other wants to speedrun the quest and get none of the bonus loot. So I just end up not doing the quest.
Anyways, since I'm getting close to it, I decided to look up some endgame warrior builds. I remember having some really good times with fallen monk, flying around and damaging enemies. I believe the term is uppercut surfing. So I did just that, I looked up "fallen uppercut surfing"
... nothing shows up. I tried digging, all I found were broken build links.
What I DID find were "upperscream" builds. It's frankly all I can find, really. I don't even remember this being a thing before. I actually can't find a single actual showcase of a upperscream build in combat, only a tutorial vid. So upperscream gameplay is just standing there and using macros to spam. Not very appealing. Are there truly no other build options?
Or has all wynncraft discussion moved to discord, including class building?
Because other than upperscream all I see are mythic builds which I have no idea how they even work... Hell, they might even be upperscream themselves lol. I've never gotten my hands on a mythic before. cuz I didn't need to! I remember asking in this very forum for a nice little build for my pretty little Rikter, and damn did that Rikter build work. There has to be a way right?
    Anyways, I'll keep digging.
Conclusion: Wynncraft is still really lit, yayyy. Except if the balancing team killed the fun warrior builds, then it's a bad game

I believe uppercut surfing got needed at some point. I kinda fade in and out so not sure when it happened. The most active post is last person to comment wins because yes so if you wanna find some company here that’s the spot (it’s mostly yeas tho)
