Another Translation

So you know how a bit ago we unscrambled bobs diary? Well I was about start on my thread on dragons, but I checked to see what the cult was up to first. @Rujala had a piece of text he wanted translated, I assume from Eye of the Storm



Do you think you guys could do it? I know it is much harder and much more lengthy than the diary, but I believe in you guys.


Like before I can't really help much, but I will try to figure out the meaning as you translate.

Why is this a thread and not just a convo? Well in case other people are great at translating old English text and want to help (I assume it's old English again [Or welsh])

If I recall correctly, that's Welsh.

Yeah, that didn't look like some type of Old English and I don't know shit about Welsh, sorry. :D

 

It is welsh, apparently.
Something along the lines of
"Flames and ruin, were released from prison mortal.
Let this abyss bring chaos to the sinful world"

 

I may be wrong, keep in mind, but I seem to recall hearing on the GM discussion that Moodle used Welsh for the wizard's spell chants.

While we're talking Welsh in Wynncraft, a few items names are in Welsh. For example, Harwrol means things like heroic, justice, epic, etc. Might be a few more that I've forgotten.

It's still used a decent bit over there, I believe.
