    General Graken's Note in the corrupted Underworld Crypt has a part where it says,
    "Even if my life goes down in the pan, you got back from that once before!"
    Does this mean that Graken is aware of the existence of Death's Realm?

    Probably not.

    It's more likely that Graken did something stupid that upended his life (and maybe prompting him to become a soldier). Or maybe he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    Well, you ended up disappearing and wandering around like a zombie during the events of The Dark Descent. He was comparing it to that.
