    This was a quick sketch based off of an album cover, it took me about an hour. Done in Photoshop.

    Hello hello - I'd make the background something besides grey so the wings stand out more. Try a few colors, whatever you like - but with both elements being grey, it's hard to focus on anything besides the angel as a human, not an otherworldly being. Even though the reference does have the same colors, play around with others! Best of wishes.
