I started playing Wynncraft again a Week ago and ever since my game crashed when i tried opening my enderchest. How do i fix that?

 

Firstly, make sure you're on a version of minecraft that Wynncraft supports (1.12+ I think)

Then, make sure you don't have any mods installed (except Wynncraft mods if that's your thing)

Beyond that, I don't really know what to recommend, sorry

 

be sure to use the latest version of optifine,
at that fixed the issue for me a few years back.

I got this exact issue.
Getting disconnected multiple times while playing.
java.io.IOException: Connection closed by remotehost.
Since around last week Thursday or something like that. Had no issues before.
Naturally the worst times are if enemies are around you and you get killed because it not instantly logs you off
or if you move items in your inventory and loose it because it gets dropped when you get kicked.
I like the game a lot so would be nice if this issue could be fixed soon or maybe its fixed in the 2.0 update, that would be real nice!

I know you have been aware of the issue that many people regularly get disconnected from the server due to remote host. I am here to tell you that this should have the HIGHEST PRIORITY out of all the stuff you are doing right now.

Some players told me they get kicked every half an hour, but some people also more frequently. I am one of them and having this every 5-10 minutes is just unplayable! Even now when the player numbers are really high compared to before the 2.0 update, it has to be more important than ever before, because it really scares off a lot of new players that would have stayed if everthing ran fine. it mostly affects:


Lootruns: after getting disconnected the player has to wait quite a long time until chests can be opened again
-> it does not make any sense to do lootruns with the current state of the server.

Grinding For XP: getting kicked while mobs are nearby means a guaranteed death 90% of the time. (I lost all my soul points in under 30 minutes)
-> it does not make any sense to grind for xp

Using XP bombs/totems: if you place a totem and disconnect, but then reconnect to the same server, the totem will still be gone. using an xp bomb usually results in a full server and it is often not possible to come back.
-> it barely makes sense to use totems/xb bombs at all.

Raids/Dungeons: imagine doing runs of these with other players and you or them get disconntected. you need to restart, lost the key, lost your teammates.
-> it barely makes sense to do raids or dungeons.

Quests: Some quests require you to complete the whole stage to proceed, otherwise you will be set back at the beginning if you log out in the middle. personal example: I needed over 2 hours to complete "the canary calls" where this exact thing happens. it took me so long to speedrun all the stages, so that I finish before I get kicked and need to restart. I did like the same thing 50 times until I succeded.

Quests where an npc walks so another place also are problematic because the npc will be set to its standard position if you disconnect, which results in a complete restart of the section.
-> some quests really have problems with the disconnect issues.


This review/bug report comes from a player that has been playing on the server since 2013.
I lived through all the big wynncraft updates and mostly enjoyed them, but this time I have no words. I have been supporting the server by buying the vip rank back in 2014, when you receive double the amount of xp than other players, and then upgraded to vip+, right when it came out. I showed many friends how cool this world is, and gave everything to make them keep playing, but I guess this is over now.

Dear wynncraft team, PLEASE FIX YOUR SERVER.

 

If you're having connection issues please follow the information on the main post. As stated in the main post the issue is being worked on, but it's not on our end, instead it's related to a contractor and the process to fix it is slow.

 

How is there still no fix. I have this problem for 2 weeks now, getting disconnect every 5 minutes, sometimes even less. This is just straight unplayable and having something this grave of a problem for two weeks now is too much.

 

Doing LI is very fun with disconnects about every 10 minutes.
It's also very fun how you don't get kicked from the server immediately but rather stand afk for ~15 seconds so whenever you disconnect you die as well!
Please fix I'm literally crying and its quite literally not playable.

And just some information, Hypixel is affected by this too.
