So I downloaded the Wynncraft Resource Pack, and I went into a singleplayer server to check out the stuff, and I found all the runes. (Probably been discovered before).

Yes, this was posted before, but no one has discussed this in a long time. And in that time we've gotten five corrupted dungeons. It's worth speculating about this again isn't it?

So. We have five corrupted dungeons, and it seems like there are four more that need to be released (Corrupted: Ice Barrows, Undergrowth Ruins, Galleon's Graveyard, and Falen Factory [?]).

The first three we have require Nii Runes and the next two require Uth Runes. If we carry on like this and have each Rune correspond to three dungeons, then we get a perfect match of three Runes and nine dungeons, but we have two Runes leftover.

Either this means the leftover ones will be used for something else (higher level Gavel dungeons?), or they're all for corrupted dungeons and at least two dungeons will get their own Rune.

Tl;dr... Nii, Uth and something else for Wynn/Corkus dungeons, and the last two for Gavel dungeons. Gavel dungeons probably will be something other than corrupted.

Just tossing in my two cents so we can (hopefully) discuss this. What I said above is probably pretty obvious though.

Like... you took 10 sentences to say "we have 5 keys and 9 dungeons to spread them out with"

decrepit sewers, infested pit and lost sanc have pink carpets at the forgery = nii
underworld crypt, sswept, ice barrows have blue carpets = uth
overgrown ruins (or w/e the name is), galleon's graveyard and most likely fallen factory have green carpets = tol
az and ek = realm of light and worm holes dungeon

This would be leaking and against the rules if everyone didn't already know about it

The dungeon is closer to olux than worm holes...
why do you call it that?

Also theres the Canyon Colossal dungeon

 

We don't actually know if it's a dungeon yet, but I don't think it's unreasonable to assume it is.

If it is though, I think it makes the rest of our speculation more likely. Grootslang's Lair, Dullahan's Castle, Light Realm, Mortal Mountain, and Canyon Collosus makes 5 dungeons. One more would line up exactly with the idea that each Rune corresponds to 3 dungeons.

Anyone remember that big thingy in the light realm maybe runes are for that?

Also Mortal Mountain wont be an actual dungeon but was rather a test that Grian (?) conducted with the wiki

 

Strange that Az would be the name of the mythic thunder bow, especially when it's made of three separate runes: Ek, Az, and Nii.

I think it's
Ek = Fire
Az = Thunder
Tol = Earth
Nii = Air
Uth = Water

Makes more sense imo

 

I wouldn't have Nii as Air, purely because Ekaznii were the runes that brought down a civilization in the form of Az. I don't see Air being the "civilization destroying" type of element, it just wants to be fast.

 

Az specifically boosts water, fire, and thunder damage, but nothing else. If the Runes really represent elements, then Az/Ek/Nii should probably line up with those in some way.
