Alkatraz Or Thundacrack?

I'm honestly having a difficult decision in what mythical spear to buy. I'm deciding between Alkatraz and Thundacrack. I'm going for an either str/def build or dex/def build. Basically: I'm looking for a build were I do at least decent dmg while not dying very easily. So... if anyone has suggestions as to which one I should buy, please reply. If you could just say which one is better compared to each other (as detailed as you can please) then that'd be much helpful! Also... if anyone is selling either one let me know...

Because I only have enough money to buy one. And off course you generally only have ONE build.

Yes... but I'm talking about one for now. So... yes... I can buy 2 and have 2 builds but thats not the point ;-;

 

I have both weapons and I can say that both can be as good as the other one it just depends on your playstyle.
If u like fast combat --> tcrack
If u like slow combat --> alkatraz
Also tcrack uses more spells than the alkatraz build which uses melee.
I suggest to use some mana regen gear when using tcrack.

 

Well I just want to say I have a Thundracrack for sale.
Also Thundracrack builds are really strong compared to Alkatraz builds since Alkatraz had LOADS of debuffs but Thundracrack has none.

 

Uhm most of the debuffs of alkatraz doesnt even matter only the - walk speed

 

Can I see its stats?

 

Lol this seems like a ploy to get him to buy your Thrundacrack...

 

I've heard from @Geno his thundacrack can still do 15kish but now being a tank is a little more viable due to spell damage fix so you could do guardian too.

 

If you are going with Thrundacrack you should probably go spell damage still regardless of the update (yes I can still do a lot of damage with it) until someone proves me wrong. To do that though would require you to put quite a lot of int to wear spell damage items making you really squishy.

Alkatraz though, haven't tested it out at all (plan on it tomorrow), but I've seen a couple people already switching to it now as the damage on it is insane.
