Aledar not at the Detlas Barracks for Taking the Tower quest?

    Basically, I've just been completing a bunch of random quests to grind experience recently, and decided to focus more on the storyline ones. I came across the Taking the Tower quest, and rant to Detlas, only to discover he's not there. I've tried leaving and relogging, but he still doesn't appear. Did I maybe miss a quest that caused him to not appear? I don't know. Thanks for any help.
