Air Element?

So most elements make sense by weaknesses and strengths (Fire = strong against earth, etc)

But what is air strong/weak towards?

 

air is strong to against fire ?
air is weak against earth ?

 

In general, the kinda follow the order,
Earth>Thunder>Water>Fire>Air>Earth

It's not a strict rule, but that is generally how it goes.
Earth is good against thunder because thunder builds are generally fragile, and get 1shot by earths hard hits.
Earth however tends to be slow, and is easily dodged and countered by air

 

Sure. Fire and air are both strong against earth, but Air more so. Thus, Earth is better equipped to resist thunder and water. It's 2 before and 2 after, with closest ones more effective.

I really disagree with Elemental Excercise, it should 100% be air. Maybe I should make a thread, since I've thought this for so long...

The general pattern is Fire beats Air beats Earth beats Thunder beats Water beats Fire.
There's also more secondary weaknesses though.

Fire can sometimes beat Earth due to plants burning.
Air can be weak to Earth with a similar explanation to Flying types versus Rock types in Pokemon.
Thunder can sometimes be weak to Water because of the light/dark dichotomy, and so on. The wheel is a good rule of thumb, but it doesn't always go that way.
