The Trade Market and World Selector are very important aspects of the game, but sometimes they can be frustrating and inconvenient to use. That's why I want to suggest adding sorting options to these, massively improving gameplay and quality of life. 1. World Selector Two buttons would be added to the compass menu. The first would control the sorting type, and the other would allow you to switch between ascending and descending order. Sorting types: Default Uptime Player Count Number In all cases, the restarting worlds would be shuffled to the end of the lists. If the server can handle it, selection would be preserved upon logging out. 2. Trade Market Two buttons would be added to the search results menu, between the arrows and the item revealing icon. The first would control the sorting type, and the other would allow you to switch between ascending and descending order. Items would be broken down into several categories, and each category would have its own sorting types. If the search results have items from two different categories, the only sorting option present would be price. (Although this isn't a part of the suggestion, these types could be added as search options to prevent collisions.) ID- and tierless items (scrap, scrolls, keys, runes, etc.): Price Amount Amount/Price (may be a bit redundant) Powders: Price Amount Tier and Price Tier and Amount Tier includes sorting by Elements. This means that e.g Fire Powder I's are listed first, then Fire Powder II's, ..., then Thunder Powder I's, etc. Horses: Price Tier (colour first, then level) Price and Tier Materials: Price Amount Amount/Price (may be a bit redundant) Tier and Price Tier and Amount Tools: Price Tier Tier and Price Ingredients: Price Amount Amount/Price (may be a bit redundant) Custom ID Option The Custom ID Option means that if you put an ID into the "search by" options, that ID would appear in the sorting types list too, and you could sort the results by that (in the case of ingredients, this sorting would go by the base value of the ID). E.g. I wanted a jump height ingredient for alchemism: I search for "Alchemism", "Ingredient" and "Jump Height", then sort the results by jump height, and now I can easily see what my options are. ID-able items and crafteds: Price Custom ID Option Custom ID Option and Price The Custom ID Option works the same as with ingredients, with one exception: it doesn't sort by the base value, but rather by the rolled values of the ID. Revealed items would be always shuffled to the end of the result list. These are my two suggestions. The only problems I can see are dev time (obviously), and the actual possibility of coding something like this into the game. If you know something is not possible to achieve, tell me, and I'll try to rework the suggestion accordingly. If you have any improvements and additions to the sorting types, or if I left out an item category, feel free to tell me.
