About The Release Of Gavel...

First off, I would like to thank each and everyone of the developers for their amazing, hard work (including everyone else who helped work on the Gavel update). This first day of myself experiencing the Gavel update has been amazing and I loved all the new things that has been added. Everything looks awesome.

Yes, Gavel was such a great update. However, during the first moments I have seen a lot of shouts in the chat stating complains and hate. Not long after the waves of complains, @Salted replied to a shout and reading what he said made me sad. It's just sad to see the product of hard work and effort being treated horribly. I would just like to say that we shouldn't look at the negative side of things first and instead appreciate the work of the amazing developers and that they've worked over a year for this update. They did all this to please us.

For those who complained or are planning to, look at the positive side. Wynncraft is now much more interesting, exciting and fun. All the complains aren't worth compared to what you will experience in the future in Wynncraft. Those complains were unnecessary (unless you are trying to state a bug or an issue).

I know it's really sad how the community is treating the new update but guess again people aren't used to it when the time passes they will start to enjoy it.

of corse a lot of people will complain but what can we do nothing of corse. Hopefully we didn't hurt the developers too much ;-;

But I'm just saying I would appreciate it more if I could actually get on

 

I appreciate all of their hard work, but the game isn't even playable for me.

 

Dude the game has just been released Give it a little time plus your still not used to it.

 

It's not that I'm not used to it, it's that I lag so much that I can't move.

 

Change is not accepted easily at first. The Gavel Update changed almost THE ENTIRE game, so many people are not used to this kind of gameplay. There are some bugs that are screwing people over, but they will be fixed most likely in a following update. I bet in a couple weeks people will have gotten used to this wynncraft and be asking for dern!
And about lag, IT JUST CAME OUT! People are hyped, lots of people are on, there are 45+ servers online! In time the lag will die down, or atleast I hope :p

I do think the developers hard work should be appreciated, but this update changed so much its barely even Wynn anymore. There's alot of people who were expecting something totally different from this and just got confused when it launched, so of them will probably adjust to the new update and others won't and will probably leave. With Wynn being etirely different now hopefully it'll bring in more people who like this new Wynn to compensate for what it loses.

 

I don't see why people are so pissed. Maybe it's just that they don't understand how it works, that weapons and armor work differently. I've seen people still trying to get both the strongest weapon and the strongest armor. Everyone complaining about the reinstatement of fall damage is just a lazy-assed person who wants the easy way out. But these people don't understand something, and that's this:
Wynncraft is not what it used to be.
It seems obvious, right? But a remarkably large amount of people don't understand that. They think it's the same old easy game. To quote something I said a while ago...

What I'm saying above is that it's not the same old easy game. We're gonna have to adjust. It's become harder. It's become more challenging. And because of this, it's become more epic. More of a game. No longer the light, easygoing playstyle. It's time to get serious. The developers really have. They've gone far this time. Really far. And we have to catch up to them.
