Here's a rework in progress of an abandoned project which was too big for me, and still is sadly.

I'd recommend finishing the character. You've already put in a lot of detail on the character, and tbh, it looks really nice!
Also, that way you can recycle the character(somewhat). By recycle, I mean you can use the same detail and design of the character and you can have the advantage of being used to drawing a character.
