hi, i've just started playing wynncraft and i want to know what the economy in this game looks like.
from what i can put together it was based around the trade market but that's been down for a while (or so i've heard).
can i get a quick explanation on how midgame (whatever that is) players trade?

Midgame players generally don't trade, since damage isn't important at that level because you kill everything with little effort and most players focus on gameplay and leveling up

A good popular mythic will cost around six to eight stacks, though the price varies

Market prices are always changing, the mythic market especially.

If you are looking to get money end-game, most people lootrun for mythics and then sell them. You could also potentially buy and resell mythics, or reroll them for potentially better stats.

There are two main ways to make money, professions and lootrunning.

Professions involve gathering high level materials and crafting items either on commission or just making good stuff for lootrunning. You also don't need to craft as T3 materials have a very high price so if you're willing to put in the massive time investment and grind gathering can be a good way to make a lot of money in a really consistent way.

Lootrunning basically just involves running in a big circle around an area looting chests. Lootrunning is a more vulatile way to make money as if you're lucky and get a mythic you'll be rich, otherwise you won't make too much as the item buyer value on items isn't super high, even after it got buffed in 1.20. If you're going to lootrun, make sure you know what items are worth taking and which you should leave as not all legendary items are valuable and not all uncommon and rares are worthless. You'll also want to look up tutorials since most lootrun loops aren't very intuitive.

First, there are more than two main ways of making money. Depending on the gear you have lootrunning might not be the best option to choose from. I collected some data on different money-making methods in wynncraft and from what I see lootrunning is just worth if you already got the right setup (warp/res/disco + lq). As of right now the best way to make money is selling scrap from helmets in rangi. Depending on the market price and the clickspeed you make around 8le/h consistently. If you got the right setup such as shaman level 105 a lot of lq (including food), dloot, good clearspeed and totems, using my toa method is the best way for getting mythic (you can sell). Grinding professions is not that profitable as it was back in the days. Furthermore, T3 materials can be obtained in raids next patch and xp-gathering items will be added too. Leading to an even greater decline in professions as a money-making method. Flipping mythic is not suggested. (unless you scam someone)
Obv. there are even better options for making a lot of money, but I do not want to include them in this thread since they might lead to people being permanently banned. (duping, scaming, flooding a server with proxied accounts -> item bombs and stuff of that nature)
