I found many light bender builds have a slow melee attack speed, and in a comment it says slower attack speed perform better.
But orbs attack when use melee attack, why it won't be better to have a super fast attack speed?

There is a delay between the time that the orbs can move, super fast doesnt make them go any faster.

Did you know that you can apply the Entropy Major ID to make the orbs attack twice as fast? So cool!
That was a new feature added in Wynncraft 2.0.1 - Spellbound
    Hope this helped!

Having a fast attacking speed weapon typically has the user spamming their melee, which can cause the orbs' fire cycle to overlap since they attack at a set speed. So essentially, if you cast a melee before all your orbs have finished firing, it'll start a new cycle, which results in your orbs having an unbalanced amount of HP, making it a bit tricky to cast abilities like Fortitude or Sunflare
