A Little Help With Another Server. Dead Server, No More Advice Please!

So I've been builder for another server, and we've run into a bit of a muddle.

We have our layout, a plan, and an idea, but we cannot execute it without players, and or devs/advice..


If you have any good advice for starting a server, please tell us! If you want to dev, please tell us! If you want the IP address, (Are we allowed) then DM me!

Also yeah you can give people the ip in convos from what I know of...
Advice: If its going to be a public server. Have some people that will play semi-regularly.
Also what do you mean you cant execute it without advice?

And basically, we need people to code, people to play, and people who know how to get a server up and running

 

To get a server up, just use MC Pro Hosting (or any other hosting service, really.) You will need to pay monthly tho.
(I volunteer to be mod pls)

Just no one playing, no one giving ideas, and there are tons of bugs.

Also u have any advice for trying to get people to play the server?

 

Advertise, advertise, advertise.
Like, share it on Twitter and other social media, share it with friends, and try to get youtubers to play on it.
For youtubers, it really doesn't matter what size at first.

That game has been done to death at this point
Try and come up with some fresh game ideas, or create some fun twist on already unique games. The last thing anyone wants to play is another "Unique Minigame Server" with Survival Games and Prison.

 

All servers have something unique e.g hypixel's skywars features the soul well, while mineplex has strange enderpearls that cause lots of people to get kicked.

 

could i try being a builder? I have tons of expeirencewith this stuff.

Can i help with the building and what verson do you guys currently use on the server

 

I'm interested to know more, however as far as suggestions go all I would recommend is start by trying to obtain a medium-ish sized tight-knit community that plays fairly regularly and then create forums etc. to communicate so they can help you fix stuff, give suggestions etc. and once you feel you have more content to appeal to more players start trying to get larger youtubers online, advertise more and push hard with voting, promotion etc.

(Also, if you need help with building I would enjoy helping out where I can)
