Guide A guide to cheap travel (written by an idiot)

First things first: this is a guide for cheap travel, just so you can save some emeralds, it is not a guide for travelling as fast as possible, but still pretty fast travel
Second things second: I’m dumb, so if I forgot something, feel free to yell at me in the replies and I will edit this post

Ok so you will need a few things: 1-2 Detlas teleport scrolls and a bunch of quests completed (all the ones that unlock fast travels, but you can skip a few that lead to useless cities (like the one that unlocks the mesa elevators))

basically this guide is gonna be how to get from Detlas to any city for cheap (I’m only doing major cities)
Ragni: use the Ragni <-> Detlas tunnel (unlocked from the quest “tunnel trouble”)
Nemract: ride there using the horse you got from “stable story”
Tempo town: ride there from Detlas or Ragni
Almuj: ride there from detlas
Selchar: ride to nemract and use the nexus unlocked from “order of the grook”
Nessak: ride there from Detlas
Llevigar: ride to nemract and use the nexus
Olux: go to llevigar and ride to olux
Troms: go to Ragni, go through the pigman ravines, take the passage to troms (requires completion of “the passage”
Gelibord: ride there from cinfras or olux
Cinfras: take the Detlas <-> cinfras airship unlocked from the quest “flight in distress”
Thanos: ride there from cinfras
Aldorei town: use the jugglers tavern in cinfras
Thesead: use the jugglers tavern in cinfras
Eltom: use the eltom <-> thesead tunnel unlocked by doing the hidden city quest
Corkus: get to selchar, and go on the css wavebreaker
Rodoroc: use the jugglers tavern in cinfras
Ahmsord: use the jugglers tavern in cinfras
Lutho: ride there from Detlas

you could also just buy scrolls for every town, but the amount of money spent on them stacks up fast.

 

For the Selchar and Llevigar ones, you can just take the seaskipper at Nemract to them directly.

 

Yeah, but the nexus is a free seaskipper

 

From misadventure at sea you get free seaskipper to selchar. Idk about llevigar.

 

Isn’t that only once though?

 

No, it's permanent. At the same time, seaskipper is 45 seconds as opposed to 5-10 for the nexus.

 

honestly I like the weirder fast travel like the lava spring -> mt wynn one ngl

 

You have to get to the nexus from Nemract though which will end up taking more time.
