A Grave Mistake

My friend has reached up to the part where Mael shows what happened before.

The quest says:

Dialogue:

• ???: You were warned not to enter this forsaken place.
• ???: But since you made it thusfar, I suppose I shall show you the truth...

and my friend got stuck in a sky-box outside Twain mansion.

My friend has tried:
-Switching servers
-doing /kill and getting back into the tomb (same thing happens)

Any way to advance the quest?
